Banjarmasin Damar Stone Exported to India

The Banjarmasin Customs Office, South Kalimantan released the first export of damar stone to India which is the production of PT Global Utama Kalimantan from Kuala Pemburan I, Seruyan Regency, Central Kalimantan.

Head of the Banjarmasin Customs Office Edy Susetyo said damar stone is a type of gemstone made from tree resin that has turned into a fossil.

"Stones that usually have a transparent color and have tiny bubbles on the inside are often used as accessories such as rings and necklaces for the wearer," said Edy. (*)
